[01]THE LICENSE
What you are actually buying.
Agreement and scope
These License & Terms form an agreement between you and GlowUp Online ("GlowUp," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you purchase, receive, access, download, or use a GlowUp website template or its related delivery materials.
By completing a purchase or using the template, you agree to these terms. The product listing and any written order details are part of the agreement. If a product listing contains a specific term that conflicts with this page, the more specific product term controls for that purchase.
Single-site license
After full payment, GlowUp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to customize the purchased template for one published website for one business. You may keep one private working or staging copy solely for building and maintaining that licensed website.
Your purchase gives you permission to use the template within these boundaries. It does not transfer ownership of the template, its source materials, its original design system, or GlowUp's intellectual property.
[02]PERMITTED USE
Make it yours. Keep it singular.
What you may do
Change the copy, colors, fonts, images, page order, and Squarespace settings for the licensed website.
Add, remove, duplicate, or rearrange pages and sections within that same website.
Use the customized website to market and operate the licensed business, including its services, products, and content.
Keep reasonable private backups for that website and allow a contractor to assist you, provided they do not retain, reuse, or distribute the template.
Client projects
A designer or developer may use a template for a client only when a separate license has been purchased for that client project. You may transfer the completed Squarespace site and its license to the client as the final end user.
After transfer, you may keep ordinary project records and screenshots, but you may not retain a reusable copy of the template or use it as the starting point for another client. Agencies or teams that need repeated use should contact us for written licensing terms.
[03]LICENSE BOUNDARIES
What stays off-limits.
You may not
Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, gift, or publish the template, delivery materials, or access credentials.
Use one purchase for multiple websites, businesses, brands, locations, or client projects.
Extract the design, layouts, code, graphics, or sections to create a competing template, page kit, course, membership resource, free download, or stock asset.
Claim the original GlowUp template or its unmodified design as your own work, or register it as your own intellectual property.
Use the template or included materials in a way that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Ownership
GlowUp and its licensors retain all rights in the original template, layout system, instructions, graphics, and other supplied materials. You retain ownership of the original brand assets, copy, photography, trademarks, and other content you add. Third-party creators retain ownership of their materials.
We do not claim ownership of your finished website, and GlowUp does not use finished customer websites in its marketing, portfolio, or promotions without written permission.
[04]DELIVERY & REFUNDS
Access begins right away.
Digital delivery
Your Access PDF is delivered electronically after checkout. The Squarespace contributor invitation is normally sent to the account email provided at checkout within 24 hours. You are responsible for providing a working email address, checking filtered folders, and accepting the invitation.
Delivery is complete when the applicable access document, download, invitation, or transfer has been sent or made available to you.
Refund policy
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, template purchases are final and non-refundable because access to the digital product begins immediately and the product cannot be returned. By requesting immediate delivery, you ask GlowUp to begin performance without delay and acknowledge that doing so may affect any statutory cancellation right available to you.Nothing in these terms limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived. If you receive a duplicate charge or cannot access your purchase, contact support so we can review the order and help resolve it.
Support
Template purchases include 30 days of email support for access, setup, and questions about the original template. Unless your order says otherwise, support does not include custom design, copywriting, custom code, new functionality, third-party integrations, or troubleshooting changes made outside the supplied template.
[05]PLATFORM & RESPONSIBILITY
The practical legal stuff.
Squarespace and third parties
GlowUp is an independent Squarespace Circle Partner. GlowUp is not employed by Squarespace, Squarespace is not a party to your purchase from us, and Squarespace is not responsible for our templates or services.
You need your own Squarespace account and any subscription, domain, business email, extension, or integration required by your website. Your use of Squarespace and third-party services is governed by their separate terms and policies.
Fonts, photography, graphics, plugins, or other third-party materials may have separate license terms. The product listing explains what is included. You are responsible for securing and maintaining rights to the content and services you add.
Compatibility and your responsibilities
Templates are built for Squarespace 7.1 as described in the product listing. Platforms change, and we do not promise permanent compatibility with every future Squarespace update, browser, extension, or third-party service.
You are responsible for backing up your content, testing the finished site, maintaining your accounts, and ensuring your website and business comply with applicable laws—including privacy, accessibility, advertising, and industry-specific requirements.
No guaranteed results
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the template and related materials are provided "as is" and "as available." GlowUp does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, search rankings, accessibility or legal compliance, customer conversions, revenue, or any particular business result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost profit damages arising from the template or its use. GlowUp's total liability relating to a template purchase will not exceed the amount you paid GlowUp for that specific template.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. In those places, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted. Nothing excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
The license ends if you materially breach these terms. If the breach can be corrected, we may ask you to correct it within a reasonable period. When a license ends, you must stop using the template and delete copies under your control, except records you are legally required to retain.
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Changes generally apply to future purchases. We will not materially reduce an existing paid license retroactively unless required by law or agreed with you. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
